Live Table Games on the Floor
Our gaming floor covers more than 72,000 square feet in southeast Edmonton along Argyll Road, so it is a sizeable space to walk. It feels busy most days, and it shows once you step into the pit. We usually have around 30 live-action table games running, with a blend of Blackjack, Baccarat, Pai Gow, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. For our network this is a standard lineup, but the way the floor flows and the pace of play is what makes it feel alive when you are actually sitting at a table.
All table games operate under Alberta’s regulated casino framework, with oversight from AGLC. In practice, that means game integrity, fair procedures, and player protections are part of the setup from day one, not something we tried to add afterward.
We also run a separate high-limit room away from the main pit. Players who prefer bigger stakes, a slightly quieter atmosphere, and less through-traffic usually head there. Overall traffic climbs on weekend evenings; those are easily our busiest times. If you want the energy of a full floor and plenty of tables in action, Friday or Saturday night is usually when it all peaks.

The Poker Room - 24 Hours, Every Day
Our poker room runs non-stop. It is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and it has its own entrance, separate from the main casino doors. For regular players this simple detail matters quite a lot - arriving late at night or heading directly to a cash game without walking across the full gaming floor is just more convenient.
We position the room as offering some of the strongest poker tournaments and both limit and no-limit cash games in Edmonton. The full schedule is published on the Poker Calendar at purecasinoedmonton.com/gaming/poker-calendar/ and updated by the property team. That is where you will find upcoming tournaments, recurring sessions, buy-in details, and format notes in one place.
For live status, PokerAtlas at pokeratlas.com/poker-room/pure-edmonton works alongside our own calendar, but independently. It tracks which games are running, how many tables are active, and what formats are open at that moment. By our experience, checking both - the official calendar and PokerAtlas - gives you the clearest read on what is actually happening before you leave home.
A simple way to plan a poker visit looks roughly like this:
- Open the Poker Calendar on our website and pick out dates that fit your schedule.
- Pay attention to format - limit or no-limit - as each draws a slightly different mix of players.
- Closer to your arrival time, look at PokerAtlas to see live game counts and current tables.
- Set up a free PokerAtlas account if you want to save events or keep ongoing tracking for future sessions.
- Follow @purecasinoedmonton on Instagram for late adjustments, special poker announcements, or promo nights.
- Use the separate poker room entrance when you arrive, then confirm with floor staff whether there is an active waiting list for the game you want.
If you are planning around one specific tournament, one extra habit helps: within 24 hours of your visit, double-check both the official Poker Calendar and PokerAtlas. Minor schedule shifts do happen, and using two sources lowers the chance of showing up for an event that has moved or changed format.
Live Entertainment and Visit Planning
Every Friday and Saturday evening we run free live entertainment that sits alongside the gaming floor instead of replacing it. You can watch a set, then head back to your table, or play a session first and move over to the music later in the night. For many guests, that mix of live games and live acts is what makes a weekend visit feel more like a full night out, not just a few hours of poker or Blackjack.
Our Instagram account, @purecasinoedmonton, is the main place we post performer lineups and timing. It is also usually where last-minute changes appear first, so if you are planning around a specific show or style of act, keeping an eye on that feed is practical.
We operate year-round. The property is wheelchair accessible and appears as such on Travel Alberta’s official tourism listings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, which helps during longer poker sessions, when you want to check PokerAtlas mid-visit, or simply keep in touch while you play.
